The Langson Family has been building Las Vegas and surrounding areas since 1948. Don Langson and his wife Gladys moved here in 1957 with their sons and immediately seized on the opportunity to make a difference on the Las Vegas map. They started with affordable, but well-designed single family homes they called “Storybook Homes”. Through the 50's, 60's and 70's Don continued to build and young Bruce learned the trade. The Langsons are a little different than most developers. Their goal isn't to build the most units the fastest, its actually to build communities that enhance the lives of the homeowners – and of the people in the surrounding neighborhoods.

The family has expanded over the years and now the fourth generation – Ryan and Nicole - is hard at work and the fifth generation is starting to learn.

One interesting fact is that Don built a low-rise apartment rental project in 1962 called Kona Loha. Bruce worked on this site as a laborer. Kona Loha became the epicenter of what was in the 60's a very hip neighborhood. Kona Loha's site on Sierra Vista is on the exact same site Bruce is now turning into his high rise vision, Las Vegas Central.
